St. Luke’s annual Christmas Fair will be held Dec. 5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 17 Oak Ave., Metuchen. The fair will include hand-crafted pottery; wood items; Christmas items; hand-made crocheted and knitted items; soaps and scents; homemade culinary creations; gift items from the trinkets and treasures collection; door prizes, and some antiques.

Christmas is a few months away, but the Seneca County Museum is showing off an unexpected gift it received this month – 31 pieces of Radford Pottery, including five pieces made in Tiffin. Heritage Festival guests can view them noon-4 p.m. today. Earlier this month, museum director Tonia Hoffert traveled to a gallery in Cincinnati to bring back the precious cargo.

Christmas was awesome! I hoped to have finally found a Pixies or Sonic Youth record to make for Dan by request for Xmas, but alas, I couldn’t. I did find a Raiders of the Lost Ark (his favorite movie) soundtrack record, and he was quite happy about that! My favorite X-mas presents?
