hardly huge amount, …
hardly huge amount, its only like, 2 kilos i think. Centering is the easiest bit, pulling the walls tall and thin, THATS hard, it takes a tons of practice and tons of failure and yet oddly enough there is no specific technique to it. it took me like, 2 years of solid throwing before i could take 6 pounds and just throw it 2 feet tall then shape it out into a bulbous vase. 2 hours a day for 2 years, and I was a natural.

The wheel head’s …
The wheel head’s fine and centered it’s just the bats that are not perfectly circular.
They’re old bats.

very nice work…I would love to hear you narrate a little…Doesn’t it bother you that the wheel head is off center….it must take a tremendous amount of concentration to block it out…it would drive me nuts!

Just throw your pot as thin or as thick as you want.
It’s the shape of the pot that really matters,not how thin you can make it.

To be honest I …
To be honest I don’t know.
Basically as thin as possible without it collapsing.
Probably 5mm or 1/4 inch thick if I was to cut the pot to measure it,but you just get a feel as to how thin you can throw before it gets too thin.
