Throwing / making a big clay pottery vase on the wheel.
The clay was about a 6-7 lb lump and was a bit hard so it took a bit longer to throw than usual but It was a pretty nice shape in the end.

that’s great! I’m just starting pottery and I’m want to by the end of the year (or sooner hopefully) be able to make a greek style vase and this video should help. I am a very visual learner.

how long have you been doing pottery work for? i have been taking it in school for about two and a half years now and i’m still not quite used to the wheel at this point. any tips out there for new potters?
