Although a thicker band will help with stability of the pot if you’re messing about with it like this.

Hi,simply homemade …
Hi,simply homemade bats made of a vinyl/resin material.
On the wheelhead are 2 metal pegs,1 in the edge and 1 in the middle.
Then drill 2 holes in the bat to correspond to the pegs and you just sit the bat on the pegs and the suction of the water on the wheelhead keeps it from lifting up.

You can get …
You can get wheelheads with prefitted metal pegs or predrilled holes into which you can screw your own metal pegs.
Otherwise you can drill your own holes and screw 2 metal pegs in yourself then drill 2 holes in the bats at the corresponding positions.
You’d better contact a potters supply company to get the right ones though.
As for the Carafe and goblets we don’t do mail order sorry as it costs too much to post and always seems to get broken on the way.
